First Sunshine Award!

A few days ago, I was thrilled to learn that Expatially Mexico nominated me for a Sunshine Award! A big thank you for the honor! I will do my best to adhere to the guidelines of the nomination, and pass on the good cheer to a few other terrific bloggers out there! 🙂

The Sunshine Award guidelines are as follows:

1. Link the award to the person who gave it to you.

2. Answer the questions that come with it.

3. Pass it along to other bloggers and let them know they have received it.

And so here are the questions and my responses:

Favorite Color: Sky blue.

Favorite Animal: Dog! It’s not “man’s best friend” for nothing! (I don’t have pets, but if I did, my dream pet would be a Frenchie! I’d call him Francois!)

Favorite Number: Never really thought of it, but I do like the number 10.

Favorite Non-Alcoholic Drink: A “No-jito” made with lots of fresh mint and real ginger beer.

Facebook or Twitter: Um, yeah, I don’t get Twitter. What can you say in 140 characters or less? Definitely Facebook. I have recently forayed into Tumblr as a micro-blogging compromise, but I still prefer long-form.

My Passion: Good Chinese Food!!!

Giving or Receiving: Both! It’s lovely to give and to see the reaction on the face of the receiver, but it’s also nice to be the recipient once in awhile too.

Favorite Day of the Week: A Saturday with no plans…

Favorite Flower: White Calla Lilies and Orchids.
